It's not quite as powerfully funny as the play (which I did see and love), but it's got such a great tone, and such a wonderfully light pace that it's really hard to not  like it. Everyone in this was really, really funny. Kate Winslet especially was great. Every harsh feeling had just the right amount of humor to laugh but to also keep taking every line seriously. I loved the awkward aura, the lack of any moment to leave you feeling comfortable, it was great. I especially loved the opening and closing scenes, it was nice to see them filmed that way. And of course, my favorite moments from the play still lived on just as well here. It was a great movie, and a LOT of fun to watch.
