The Debt

4/5

It's heavy, hard to watch at points and certainly violent, but much like my thoughts on The Town in 2010, I love how violence in this movie is actually realistic. No Hollywood beatings that result in little more than a bruise, no poke to the chest that sends a character flying. The story itself is intriguing, different, and really special. The acting is all absolutely phenomenal. It's one of the most realistic espionage films I've ever seen, if not the most realistic. Not for everyone, but definitely one to check out and enjoy if you have a chance. And definitely one to see if you like constant twisting and turning of the plot.
